Sound-Tech Xpress Expansion
Ceco Door is proud to
announce new single and double opening Sound-Tech
Xpress Systems. The new pairs of doors are available
with cylindrical and exit hardware, single doors
with rim panic devices and military/government
locks. Five new STC ratings are available as well
STC 47, 48, 49 and 53. Sound-Tech Xpress Systems are
the noise solution for any facility including,
airports, healthcare, hospitality, military/
government and municipal buildings as well as
educational institutions.

Expanded StormPro Multi-Point
Exit
Ceco Door expands the StormPro multi
point exit product offering to include paired
openings up to 8-0 x 8-0 without a
mullion and single openings up to 4-0 x
8-0.These new products will give end-users another
option for creating highly functional safe rooms.
These StormPro doors use multi-point
exit devices to help shield occupants in a safe room
from flying debris. These StormPro doors are third
party certified with Underwriters Laboratories with
listings to meet FEMA P-361, Second Edition (August
2008) standards, and are in compliance with ICC
500-2008. Product is also fire rated through 3
hours. As with all StormPro products, the certified
labels are applied to each door.

KD SideLight Frame
A common problem with the
installation of a sidelight opening in buildings is
transporting the complete frame unit to the opening.
Ceco Door is pleased to announce the KD SideLight
Frame. This is a drywall sidelight unit that can be
assembled and installed at the opening without
having to weld the frame pieces together and
transport them to various levels of a building.
There are no more concerns of fitting the welded
frame in the elevator or through doorways of a
building.
The Ceco KD SideLight Frame is designed to use
common hand tools for installation in a matter of
minutes in a rough opening. The complete frame
bundle can be carried to the specified opening and
installed in a very short time, saving both labor
and transportation cost.

High Definition Embossed
1-Panel Door
Ceco Door is pleased to announce the
addition of the High Definition Embossed 1-Panel door
to the product line. The sharp panel radius, along
with increased shadow detail, makes the HD 1-Panel
door a clear choice in adding elegance to any
opening. The distinct 1-panel design gives any room
or entrance a sophisticated look. This product is
perfect for condominiums, assisted living complexes,
hotels, office buildings, and dormitories.
Underneath the 18 gage
galvaneal exterior
skins is an energy efficient polyurethane core
making this door an important solution to todays
building requirements. The Ceco HD1-Panel door can
be UL or WH fire rated up to 3 hours (UL10C) with
ADA compliant designs available as well. The design,
durability, and energy efficiency makes the HD
1-Panel door a cost effective alternative to stile
and rail wood doors.

Expanded StormPro Shutter
Architects are designing buildings
to create increased natural lighting, which promotes
a better learning environment for students while
providing an energy efficient climate. However, this
trend requires more challenging life-safety
solutions to help protect the lives of the building
occupants during a Tornado.
As leaders in the industry, Ceco
Door understands the balance between design
flexibility and life-safety requirements, which
produced the introduction of our StormProTM
shutter program this spring. This included a 4-sided
StormPro frame unit with StormPro door and hardware.
The units are installed inside the room in front of
conventional exterior windows. When a severe weather
threat occurs, the StormPro Window Shutter is closed
creating a level of security equal to an approved
storm shelter.
We now have expanded the program to
include smaller size shutters down to 1'8 x 30
plus other enhancements including a new
multi-purpose window option.

Ceco Door is
pleased to announce TrioTM,
an innovative new door, which is best described as
strong, beautiful, and green. Trio is a fusion of
composite and steel stiffened doors to create a new
patent pending laminated core design like no other
in the industry. Trio contains all of the aesthetic
and insulating benefits of a polyurethane core with
the added strength and security of a steel stiffened
core. Trio gives you the ability to provide a steel
stiffened door that can be painted with high gloss
paints, as there are no vertical weld marks to show
through on the face skins. Trio also has the
insulating values of a polyurethane core with 30%
less thermal bow than most polyurethane core doors.

Sound-Tech Xpress Expanded!
Long lead-times and high pricing for acoustical
openings are things of the past with the newly
expanded Ceco Door Sound-Tech Xpress product line.
Sound-Tech Xpress now covers acoustical requirements
from an operable STC rating of 32 through 46. This
STC range covers most education and military
requirements for sound doors and LEED for schools.
All of these products are competitively priced,
shipped at standard lead-times and include approved
seal systems with certified labels.
The new products
include operable systems rated at STC 32, STC 38,
STC 41 (Single and Pairs) and STC 43. These are in
addition to the STC 46 system already in place. All
products have been successfully tested to the
required ASTM standards, including ASTM E90, ASTM
E1332-90 and ASTM E413.

Fire Rated Impact Resistant Glass For
Doors and Frames
Ceco Door has developed a new solution for openings
to meet the strict Hurricane Codes. Ceco Door is
pleased to announce doors and frames with impact
resistant glass that are also fire rated. This new
opening solution provides end users the flexibility
to use glass in fire rated openings that will also
comply with the requirements of impact resistance.
This is the first product in the industry with 3rd
party certification for both impact resistant and
fire rated glass. Ceco Door will provide the glass
with the doors and frames to help ensure that
products provided to the project meet the code
requirements. This "one stop shopping" saves time
and hassles.
The ASSA ABLOY Door Group in
cooperation with Vetrotech Saint-Gobain have
developed a range of multi-laminated glass products
in large sizes. This technology makes the Ceco Door
Fire Rated and Impact Resistant Doors and Frames
with glazing possible. The Ceco Door Fire Rated and
Impact Resistant Doors and Frames offer fire rated
and hurricane impact resistant glass products, which
are to be used in the most extreme exterior
locations. The design is intended to be used in
doors, sidelites, and select fixed frame assemblies,
as well as a hurricane impact layer suitable for
exterior applications. The slim profile of Keralite
FR-ULTRA IGU HI also meets the requirements for Temp
Rise Fire Rated Doors up to 90 minutes. These
specialty engineered glass products provide thermal
heat barrier properties for maximum fire protection
combined with the HVHZ performance where mandated by
the Florida Building Code (FBC).

150 PSF Hurricane System
Ceco Door is pleased to
announce availability of the 150 PSF Hurricane
System, which is certified for design pressure
+/-150 psf and large missile impact 350 lbf. This
addresses specific door opening applications,
usually in the High Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ),
on higher floor elevations where design pressure
requirements in excess of 100 psf are not uncommon.
The 150 PSF Hurricane System is certified by
Underwriters Laboratories (UL) for compliance with
hurricane resistance test standards including: ANSI
A250.13, ASTM E330, ASTM E1886, ASTM E1996, TAS-201,
TAS-202, TAS-203.
Door hardware is
limited to the ASSA ABLOY components listed above.
Ceco Door hurricane products are available with the
preassembled ReadySet program, allowing factory
application of hardware on doors before shipping to
the jobsite.

In March of
2007, Ceco Door announced the addition of a 2-Panel
Door to the existing Embossed Door product line. The
2-Panel Door also included the introduction of the
HD (High Definition) Embossment, creating an
exciting new look with expanded pattern folds. This
product has been very well received in the market
and has created additional business for our
Distribution network.
We are now excited to launch two new complimentary
product offerings, the ArchTop HD 2-Panel and
Arch Top HD 2-Panel with Planks. These new designs
will add a more colonial door look to the Embossed
Door product line. It is reported that the market
for these designs will include the Hospitality and
Condominium markets.
These new Embossed Designs are now available on
production lead times with the same options as the
current 2-Panel.

StormPro Shutter System
Ceco Door's StormPro program of tornado resistant
products now includes shutter systems. This product
is being specified and used in safe rooms that
require normal lighting from windows during
non-threat conditions. The StormPro Shutter Systems
are 4-sided SP frame units with SP doors and
hardware that are installed inside the room on top
of conventional exterior windows. When faced with a
threat from severe weather, the doors are closed
(self-latching), creating security to the level of
an approved storm shelter.
The Ceco StormPro Shutter System is third party
certified through Underwriters Laboratories, the
same as the door units, and comes with the certified
label attached. In addition StormPro is available
with the preassembled ReadySet System.
